When the highest performance weathering is required. Three independent banks of blades positioned to allow integral rainwater capture and draining whilst providing excellent airflow. System can be used for both inlet and extract airflow requirements.
Key Characteristics
- Uniformity of blade profile (across the Colt Universal Louvre System). Whether single, double or triple bank the external aesthetic is identical allowing the integration of different airflow and weathering requirements to be met whilst maintaining a continuous external appearance).
- Three independent banks of blades designed to separate airborne rain from the airflow.
- Integral drainage system to allow ‘captured’ airborne rain to be effectively removed from the airflow and drained to the cill and out to the building’s external façade.
- Excellent airflow performance.
- Integrated single and double doors are available.
- Mitred corners are available to provide a continuous appearance whether internal or external corners are required.
- Available in 50mm pitch (3UL/SH) or 100mm pitch (3UL/DH)
3UL/SH - 50mm pitch louvre
Comprising head, jamb and cill flashings with roll formed blades at 50mm pitch externally and internally, clipped to concealed mullions at maximum 1250mm centres to provide a continuous external appearance. Inner blades are set within self draining modules.
- Aerodynamic coefficient on Inlet – 0.277
- Aerodynamic coefficient on Extract – 0.220
- HEVAC weathering classification – A3 (at all intake velocities up to 3.5m/s).
3UL/DH - 100 pitch louvre
Comprising head, jamb and cill flashings with roll formed blades at 100mm pitch externally and 50mm pitch internally, clipped to concealed mullions at maximum 1250mm centres to provide a continuous external appearance. Inner blades are set within self draining modules.
- Aerodynamic coefficient on Inlet – 0.250
- Aerodynamic coefficient on Extract – 0.220
- HEVAC weathering classification – A3 (at all intake velocities up to 3.5m/s).
