Terminology

1UL - Single Bank Louvre
2UL - Double Bank Louvre
3UL - Triple Bank Louvre
S - Shallow 50mm Pitch Louvre Blade
M - Medium 75mm Pitch Louvre Blade
D - Deep 100mm Pitch Louvre Blade
H - Horizontal
V - Vertical Blade
I - Inverted Blade

eg. 1UL/SHI = 50mm single bank horizontal inverted blades

For screening and situations where maximum airflow is required but rain defence is not considered important. Offers excellent aerodynamic performance for both inlet and extract airflow requirements.

Configuration

  • Horizontal
  • Vertical
  • Inverted

Key Characteristics

  • Uniformity of blade profile (across the Colt Universal Louvre System). Whether single, double or triple bank the external aesthetic is identical allowing the integration of different airflow and weathering requirements to be met whilst maintaining a continuous external appearance).
  • Excellent airflow performance (both on inlet and extract).
  • Integrated single and double doors are available.
  • Mitred corners are available to provide a continuous appearance whether internal or external corners are required.
  • Available in 50mm pitch (1UL/SH) or 100mm pitch (1UL/DH).

1UL/SH - 50mm pitch louvre

  • Comprising head, jamb and cill flashings with roll formed blades at 50mm pitch, clipped to concealed mullions at maximum 1250mm centres to provide a continuous external appearance.
  • Aerodynamic coefficient on Inlet – 0.435
  • Aerodynamic coefficient on Extract – 0.380
  • HEVAC weathering classification – D1 (at all inlet velocities)

1UL/MH - 75mm pitch louvre

  • Comprising head, jamb and cill flashings with roll formed blades at 75mm pitch, clipped to concealed mullions at maximum 1250mm centres to provide a continuous external appearance.
  • Medium Louvres are exclusively for screening purposes only and therefore no aerodynamic or weather performance is specified

1UL/DH - 100mm pitch louvre

  • Comprising head, jamb and cill flashings with roll formed blades at 100mm pitch, clipped to concealed mullions at maximum 1250mm centres to provide a continuous external appearance.
  • Aerodynamic coefficient on Inlet – 0.470
  • Aerodynamic coefficient on Extract – 0.460
  • HEVAC weathering classification – D1 (at all inlet velocities).
