BAF60 Acoustic Baffle

The BAF60 Acoustic Baffle is suitable for a wide range of acoustic requirements within the building industry.

The baffle panels are constructed using 0.9mm galvanised steel outer sheet formed into a tray design which encompasses the inert, vermin proof, weather rated, non-combustible acoustic infill. The whole unit is then closed with a 0.7mm galvanised steel perforated sheet riveted to the galvanised sheet with a maximum size of 1m wide x 2m high

The baffle panels are ideal to be used as an acoustic barrier for walls and ceilings / roofs for plantrooms and areas where there is a requirement for excessive noise to be limited / reduced.

Using perforated sheet on the internal face of the baffle panels allows the noise to be absorbed in the panel effectively reducing the noise as opposed to a solid construction that will reflect the noise back and around the surrounding area.

BAF60 panels can be supplied unpainted / mill finish or polyester powder painted (ALPS stock a wide range of polyester powder RAL and BS colours).
