ALPS were contracted by Henry Brothers Ltd to provide a four sided, single bank (1UL) louvre screen system to surround M&E plant situated at roof level.
Due to the aspect of the roof, the louvre blades were inverted 180 degrees to obscure the line of sight from ground level to the plant area behind.
ALPS worked with Henry Brothers Ltd and undertook a site survey to specify a bespoke, light weight box section packer to allow the louvre mullions to face fix directly to the cladding and cleat off the steel framework, ensuring the desired setting out was achieved.
ALPS forward planned with regular trouble shooting of potential risks that may have impacted and delayed the manufacture and installation of the louvre screen.
As a result, ALPS were able to reduce the manufacture and delivery timeframe and install the louvre screen ahead of schedule in order to meet site programme constraints and allow for commissioning of the louvres on time in full
